Case Study
This concept creates a clean, modern backyard retreat where the pool becomes the main architectural element and the patio zones radiate off of it for lounging, dining, and everyday use. The layout keeps everything open and symmetrical, with broad deck space and simple lines that make the home and outdoor living areas feel connected and intentional.
A grid of oversized stepping slabs set in turf establishes strong geometry and guides circulation toward the water, while layered planting beds and mature trees soften the hardscape edges and add privacy. The pool design is highlighted by a raised, square spa feature at the focal point, paired with a shallow sun shelf with in-water loungers and bubblers for a resort-style hangout zone.
