Case Study

This project frames a clean, modern poolscape as an extension of the home’s existing architecture, using crisp geometry and a restrained material palette to keep the space feeling open and intentional. Broad concrete decking creates a seamless circulation loop from the rear entry to multiple gathering zones, while the pool’s long, linear form reinforces a calm, contemporary look.

The layout balances function and comfort with a sun shelf for in-water lounging and a dedicated patio area for dining and evening use around the fire feature. Planting is kept low and structured—layered shrubs and simple bed lines soften the hardscape edges, preserve sightlines, and add texture without competing with the brick façade or the pool’s clarity.
