Case Study
This project was designed as a layered backyard retreat that feels elevated, spacious, and intentionally built for entertaining. The layout is centered around a modern geometric pool with a raised spa and spillway, framed by clean coping lines, stacked stone retaining walls, and wide deck zones that create a structured resort style atmosphere while still blending naturally into the wooded setting.
The poolscape is surrounded by multiple lounging environments, including sun shelf seating, umbrella shaded daybeds, and open conversation areas positioned for full visibility across the water. Strategic elevation changes help define each zone, giving the yard a high end terraced feel and turning the entire space into a true multi level experience rather than one flat patio.
At night, the design transforms through curated landscape lighting, step lighting, and soft uplighting throughout the planting beds, giving the project depth, warmth, and a strong sense of ambiance. The result is a timeless outdoor concept that balances clean architecture with comfort, delivering a backyard built for both relaxing afternoons and unforgettable evening hosting.
